Digipovera

Digipovera is the result of joining two concepts: the modern digital photography, fast and instant, and the arte povera, the artistic trend born in Italy in the 1970s. Recycling, immediate consumption, and the lack of thought that derives from life’s speed are what made us stop, look and observe our surroundings. And, as the ragmen we became, we started picking and piling up objects, images and ideas, to later combine them in a unique object. The result of this process was Digipovera. We are digital poor, maybe poorer, maybe more digital every day, slowly becoming digipoveras.
